Pinewood Derby Pattern Disney Cars

Krossing 2009 Competition

Fragility.
Krossing project exhibited at the exhibition, a fringe event at the 53rd Venice Biennale 2009.

Indoor, outdoor. Only a wall separates them. They are united by a tree. Dead outside, alive inside. Sinister shadows, absurd, perhaps harmless, threatening the house. Someone looks out searches. Inside, no. But everything shines. In three frames, made with different techniques, from processing digital collage on panel, Nancy Rossit tells a story intimate and universal. The story of the fragile feelings that we all feel. When I closed in on ourselves, just before the world, we find ourselves fearful and unable to relationships. Inside us, away from it all, a wonderful ideal and reality, where everything is perfect. But where, perhaps, what we really miss is the humanity of others and the truth about man.
